Dynamic Hatha Yoga

A dynamic, flowing, alignment focused Yoga practice which is infused with the Slings movement concept as a constant thread for maintaining awareness of structural balance and movement efficiency. An energizing & dynamic practice to suit all levels based on the anatomical alignment of Iyengar, with the flow of vinyasa while maintaining a correct sensitivity of the breath.

 

The practice of asana (postures) requires a high level of concentration for prolonged periods, leading the mind to a greater consciousness of the “moment”. Stephanie describes this as “meditation in movement”.

Dynamic Hatha Yoga is a well rounded Yoga practice allowing time for centring, alignment and breath practice, while also building up to flowing in movement and breath. Stephanie's classes often revolve around a theme for 5-6 weeks where students have the opportunity to build on their understanding and practice. As such Stephanie's classes are more like courses.

Her classes invite you to listen to your body and also find your edge.

Drop in's are welcome but encouraged to attend regularly to receive the true benefit of Stephanie's teaching.

Level 1 classes are suitable for beginners and those with experienced practice.

Level 2 classes are suitable for movement teachers and those with experienced practice.

Open Level classes are suitable for confident beginners and those with experienced practice.
